Asian Peanut Chicken

I can’t even stress how amazing this sauce is. I’d put it all over everything if I could! I also love how easy it is to adapt the recipe to your liking - maybe you like a little extra spice, extra soy sauce, extra peanut butter to make it creamier. I make this often because it’s so versatile; put this chicken on rice, serve with veggies, or top a salad with it.


Asian Peanut Chicken

A sweet and salty chicken dish made with a mouth-watering peanut sauce!

Makes: 3-4 servings

Cook time:

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp light olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1 lb chicken tenderloins, cubed
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2-3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup natural creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp sweet thai chili sauce or sriracha
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • Instructions:
    1. Over medium heat, melt butter and olive oil in a skillet. Add garlic and onion and cook until translucent.
    2. Add chicken cubes to skillet. Cook, stirring frequently, for a few minutes. Turn heat to medium low and add peanut butter, vinegar, 2 tbsp soy sauce, maple syrup, and sweet chili sauce. Stir until chicken is fully cooked.
    3. Remove from heat and add sesame oil. Stir again and add another tbsp soy sauce, if you’d like it to be a little more salty!

  • This is great with rice, roasted veggies, or on a salad with a peanut sauce dressing!
